Jeffery Ford – Fake mainstream news sources have actually succeeded in broadcasting so much unbridled fear into the United States that weak-kneed left-leaning Americans are coming down with a mental illness that goes by two different names: Trump Anxiety Disorder and Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The symptoms of these conditions include a delusional belief that it’s the end of the world, a disorientation that’s beyond the liberal norm, an unhealthy obsession with following every liberal news channel’s apocalypse of the day, a deep sense of anxiety and dread, and being prone to unhinged hissy fits if anyone dares to besmirch the sterling reputation of either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama.
While “Trump Anxiety Disorder” (a term originally coined by psychologist Jennifer Panning) and Trump Derangement Syndrome are real, they have been deceivingly misnamed. These mental illnesses have absolutely nothing to do with our 45th president and everything to do with our partisan media, who are ruthlessly and unethically trying to take down our duly elected commander in chief.
President Trump’s many achievements in the White House are actually serving to elevate the spirits of many Americans who are responsibly receiving their news from reliable sources. Last quarter’s 4.1% growth rate, Latino and black unemployment at record lows, greater security at our nation’s border, and Trump’s historic meetings with Russian president Vladimir Putin and North Korean president Kim Jong-un are all reasons for joy and celebration. These accomplishments are just a few of the reasons why President Trump’s approval ratings continue to climb.
Trump Anxiety Disorder and Trump Derangement Syndrome should immediately have their names changed to Fake News Anxiety Disorder and Fake News Derangement Syndrome.
Never before in the history of the United States have the vast majority of news outlets marched together in lockstep in an apparent effort to gaslight the American populace into believing false narratives about both their country and their duly elected president.
Relentless Ad Hominem Attacks
Ever since Donald Trump declared his candidacy for the presidency on June 16, 2015, we have been inundated with assertions that Donald Trump is a racist, sexist homophobe who is unfit for elected office. All of those accusations have repeatedly been proven to be unfounded.
What kind of a racist would entrust and appoint Dr. Benjamin Carson, Sr. as the United States secretary of housing and urban development? What type of a sexist would ever have made Kellyanne Conway his campaign adviser and then later made her a counselor to the president? And no homophobe would ever have stood in front of the Republican National Convention as Donald Trump did during his acceptance speech and say, “As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.”
Threats of Nuclear Annihilation
Do you remember being told that President Trump was risking nuclear war with North Korea for simply tweeting about “Little Rocket Man”? President Trump later met with President Kim Jong-un on June 12, 2018. The negotiations resulted in the signing of a joint statement where the two leaders agreed on working together to establish peaceful relations between the two countries and also for the Korean Peninsula. President Trump also negotiated the release of the remains of fifty-five United States troops who whose lives were taken during the Korean War.
Illegal Alien Children Separated from Parents and Human-Traffickers
While the vast majority of the media didn’t mind at all when illegal alien children were being separated from their parents and human-traffickers during the Obama administration, it sent the leftist talking heads into a frenzy to see the Trump administration do the exact same thing for the protection of the children.
Time Magazine even had the audacity to copy and paste on its cover a photo of a crying two-year-old girl from Honduras standing next to President Trump with the caption “Welcome to America.” The photo gave Time the notoriety it desired and also stigmatized our president and our country in a most unfair manner.
Just remember that whenever you see the immigration and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) protesters out carrying signs saying, “No borders, no nation, no deportation,” we do have a president in the Oval Office doing everything possible to keep those children as safe as possible – no matter what country they came from.
Turning the Clock Back on Women’s Rights
The hysterical caterwauling over President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court is only going to get shriller the closer we come to his confirmation hearings. Sadly for everyone suffering from Fake Media Derangement Syndrome, the media are getting a loathsome assist from their Democratic political allies, who are helping to bring the pain to those they purport to care for.
House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement, “The President’s selection is a clear and disrespectful assault on the fundamental rights of women and on the quality, affordable health care of the American people[.]”
Failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hilary Rodham Clinton said while speaking to the American Federation of Teachers, “You know, I used to worry that they wanted to turn the clock back to the 1950s, now I worry they want to turn it back to the 1850s” – implying that Trump’s nominee would take us all the way back to not just back-alley abortions, but the days of slavery.
Both the Democrats and the fake media are doing everything they possibly can do to manufacture unfathomable anxiety in their voting base to get them out to the polls for the November midterms. They aren’t even the slightest bit concerned that their fear-mongering is resulting in what is now being called Trump Anxiety Disorder and Trump Derangement Syndrome, because they truly don’t care about you. They care about only themselves.

Physics professor Konstantin Meyl has recently published his new book Der Skalarwellenkrieg. Meyl is the worlds leading expert on scalar waves, a form of waves which had been kept secret from public knowledge for over 100 years. Nikola Tesla was first to demonstrate the world, what scalar waves are, in his famous Colorado Springs experiment 1899 where he sent electric energy through the air without cables to light bulbs in a distance of 30 miles. The electricity was sent quicker than light and the bulbs received more energy than Tesla had sent away (over unity effect), because the transport vehicle for the electric energy, an electric scalar wave, sucked free energy from the surrounding nature, free neutrino power, during its voyage.
1990 Prof. Meyl detected the magnetic scalar wave, which is biologically relevant and even useful as a weapon.
The conspiracy against the scalar waves started even before Teslas discovery in Colorado Springs 1899, when the brilliant English mathematician James Clerk Maxwell died in 1879. His disciples Heaviside and Gibbs and even Heinrich Hertz falsified the third Maxwell equation after his death an put the part describing scalar waves to zero with the argument, that only electromagnetic waves had been detected so far (by Hertz 1886), but no scalar waves. They did not correct their mistake, when Tesla detected the electric scalar wave in 1899 and Lord Kelvin officially confirmed that both kinds of waves exist and had been recently discovered.
Since than the scalar waves had been covered up, JP Morgan canceled financing Tesla, burned his laboratory, tore down the Wardenclyffe Tower and the Nobel Prize Committee never gave Tesla the prize. He was marginalized and taken off the history books, mainly because nobody should know about free energy.
Because Tesla came from Croatia/Serbia, a lot of his research, which granted him over 700 patents, was sent back to Serbia when Tesla died 1943 in New York. Stalin gave the order to suck in every peace of Teslas research. The Russians even bought his patent to transfer free energy from St. Petersburg to Siberia. The US on the other hand did everything, to cover up Teslas genius research results. This should have dire consequences until our days!
By private personal contacts Tesla could even supply German scientists during WW2 with parts of his scalar wave technology. But the Nazis had even other sources, mainly from the Vril-society ladies, with Maria Orsic in the lead. Prof. Meyl focuses in his new book Der Skalarwellenkrieg on one of Hitlers most secret weapons: die Glocke, the Bell.
Meyl admits, that there is very litle known about die Glocke, but he got the information without being able to tell his sources, that the Bell was a magnetic monopole emitting magnetic scalar waves and used as a beam-weapon. During the end of WW2 it was, if we may believe Meyl, transported from Poland on the railway to Iran, because it was so huge and heavy, so it did not fit in a plane.
This together with a lot of Hitlers top scientists put the Iran in a position of scalar wave power up to our days.
Stalin kidnapped a lot of top Nazi scientists, especially the skilled radar researchers. They were needed for the phase conjugated radar system, that can sent two different scalar waves to meet, the so called scalar wave interferometer (Tom Bearden). In the meeting point of the two different scalar wave beams a lot of energy can be focused, that is able to destroy the most powerful weapons on earth, even the earth itself.
The US did not get Hitlers scalar wave scientists, only Wernher von Braun and Gestapo Müller.
That enabled Stalin to start the cold war with a scalar wave attack, in the Bermuda triangle of all places, where the US military used to have exercises.”Flight-19 was the code name for Five Avenger bomber planes that took off from the Naval base at Florida on 5th of December 1945, but never returned. U.S Navy’s final report mentioned “Reasons Unknown” when citing the cause of the incident.”
During and after the Korean War 1950 a lot of American prisoners of war, who had been in Soviet or Chinese prison camps, came home as remote controlled killer machines, asManchurian Candidates. A trigger word during a telephone call and they dropped everything, picked up a hidden weapon and killed the person they had been programmed to kill. After that often a suicide program kicked in. The Americans got shocked. They had not advanced in the horrible mind control technology as the Russians. Mind control is mainly done with scalar waves.
During the 1970s the USA suffered from extreme weather and earthquakes, more than usual. Linked to that was “the Russian Woodpecker [which] was a notorious Soviet signal that could be heard on the shortwave radio bands worldwide between July 1976 and December 1989. It sounded like a sharp, repetitive tapping noise, at 10 Hz, giving rise to the “Woodpecker” name. ” It was sent by the Duga-3 array outside Chernobyl quicker than light, often at 31,5 Hz. The atomic power plant in Chernobyl gave all its electric energy to the Duga-3 facility. When the US detected that the Soviet Union planned a devastating earthquake in the San Francisco Bay, they used their new scalar weapons to destroy the atomic reactor in Chernobyl 25 April 1986.
The American answer to the Russian Duga-3 became the HAARP facility in Gakona Alaska. They use scalar waves too, but in a more primitive way compared to the Russians.HAARP was used to drown Irak with water during operation Desert Storm. HAARP changed the jet-stream from the North Pole to more southern regions. Central Europe was flooded, the water war was continuously sent down more south to the Irak. What the culprits at HAARP did not foresee was the fact, that clouds over a desert do not suck up water but sand. Their own troops had to suffer a lot by desert storms during Desert Storm ….
1999 the NATO intervened in the Balkan/Kosovo war, to give American interests (Soros & Co) control over uranium and Trepca mines and other valuable assets of the region. “Kosovo alone has the richest mineral resources in all of Europe.” wrote the Digital Journal.
“The Army spent a half billion dollars sending two dozen AH-64 Apache attack helicopters to Albania this spring for NATO’s fight against Yugoslav troops tearing up Kosovo. But the Apaches never fired a shot in combat. … Instead, they were grounded by Pentagon fears about potential U.S. casualties.” Washington Post reported.
”In the first NATO casualties of Operation Allied Force, the two crew members of a U.S. Army Apache attack helicopter were killed when their aircraft crashed in Albania early Wednesday” CNN informed 5 May 1999. Prof. Meyl claims, they crashed against an invisible wall of scalar waves, a Tesla-dome.
One of the Russian scalar weapons had been hidden in the Chinese embassy in Belgrad. That was the real reason why NATO bombed it deliberately.
4 December 2012 Iran published the capture of an unmanned US drone Scan-Eagle type over Iranian territory. The Pentagon denied that, but Obama demanded it back. Usually if you capture a drone, it destroys itself automatically. Only advanced scalar wave technology made it possible for Iran to catch the drone totally unharmed. Is this the legacy of die Glocke?
10 April 2014 Russia humiliated the US by jamming all electronic on the USS Donald Cook, which had the most advanced electronic weapons on board, the Aegis system. “The State Department acknowledged that the crew of the destroyer USS Donald Cook has been gravely demoralized ever since their vessel was flown over in the Black Sea by a Russian Sukhoi-24 (Su-24) fighter jet which carried neither bombs nor missiles but only an electronic warfare device. “ Voltaire Net reported.
In October 2015 this headline attracted attention all over the world:
With scalar wave technology the Russians blocked all the electronic devices in the American and ISIS weaponry in Syria.
One year ago, 11 January 2016, Iran humiliated the US again. They captured two American patrol boats on Iranian waters. The crews lost complete control over their vessels, because all electronic finished to work. Even the GPS on the crews cellphones had been out of order. This technology is based on scalar waves.
“A video aired Wednesday by Iranian state television shows an American sailor apologizing for entering Iranian waters, an embarrassing development for a U.S. administration trying to paint the service members’ quick release as a diplomatic victory.” reported CNN.
This Iranian weapons supremacy resulted in the new agreement between the US and Iran from 16 january 2016, only five days after the last show down from Iran.
Thank you Nikola Tesla and your reincarnation Konstantin Meyl for all the information and technology you gave to man kind! And thanks to Russia and president Putin, that they stopped the terrorists in Syria and WW3!

The following seems like science fiction, but scalar beam weapons were invented in 1904 by a

are so powerful that just by satellite one can: make a nuclear like destruction; earthquake;
hurricane; tidal wave; cause instant freezing – killing every living thing instantly over many miles;
cause intense heat like a burning fireball over a wide area; induce hypnotic mind control over a
whole population; or even read anyone on the planet’s mind by remote; affect anybody’s REM
dream sleep by sending in subliminal pictures to the visual cortex; cause hallucinagon drug like

imprinting the disease ‘signature’ right into the cellular structure; paralyze and or/kill everyone

space faster than the speed of light, without any detectable warning by crossing 2 or more
beams with each other and any target can be aimed at even right through to the opposite side
of the earth. If either of the major scalar weapon armed countries e.g. U.S. or Russia were to fire
a nuclear missile to attack each other this may possibly not even reach the target, because the
missile could be destroyed with scalar technology before it even left its place or origin. The
knowledge via radio waves that it was about to be fired could be eavesdropped and the target
could be destroyed in the bunker, fired at from space by satellite.
The Separation of Righteousness and Politics
Roger Stone – One of Stone’s Rules is “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” Even I may have taken exception to that rule last Friday.
If you followed the news last Friday, you know that my longtime friend Kristin Davis testified before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury, that my longtime associate and wingman Andrew Miller was held in contempt for his refusal to testify for the grand jury, and that a subpoena was dropped on Randy Credico who, despite his public denials, was the source who first told me that Wikileaks had the goods on Hillary and would release them in October. It was a Deep State Trifecta!
Andrew Miller’s contempt citation is a bit more complicated and his appeal may be problematic for Mueller down the road.
Mueller is running a criminally abusive, constitutionally unaccountable, professionally and politically incestuous conspiracy of ethically conflicted cronies colluding to violate my Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights and those of almost everyone who had any sort of political or personal association with me in the last 10 years.
He has conducted a supposedly comprehensive investigation of a very narrow and limited issue as an open-ended, totally limitless Grand Prosecution, with absolutely no articulable or even identifiable criminal predicate to substantiate it as a lawful investigation, even under ordinary circumstances.
Mueller’s team of partisan prosecutors seek to prove the unprovable — that I received allegedly hacked e-mails from the Russians or Wikileaks and passed them on to Donald Trump. This threadbare false narrative is harped on endlessly by the slugs at MSNBC and other despicable “fake news” outlets.
Now, because of the accuracy of my tweets — in which I merely followed the tweets of Wikileaks and the many public interviews of Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange — Mueller and his hit-men seek to frame some ludicrous charge of “defrauding the United States.”
This is, of course, based on a false and unproven assumption that Assange is a Russian agent and Wikileaks is a Russian front — neither of which has been proven in a court of law. Interestingly Assange himself has said, “Roger Stone has never said or tweeted anything we at Wikileaks had not already said publicly.”
The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal also had to recycle “news” of my entirely innocuous exchange on Twitter direct message with a persona who calls himself Guccifer 2.0 (who our Intelligence Agencies insist is a Russian hacker despite much evidence to the contrary). Based on its 24-word content, context and timing, the exchange is meaningless and benign and took place long after Wikileaks has published the allegedly hacked DNC material. This mundane exchange was turned over to the House Intelligence Committee at the time of my testimony.
It proves nothing!
I testified for four hours under oath before the House Intelligence Committee. That testimony is 100-percent accurate and true despite claims to the contrary from hyper-partisans Rep. Adam Schiff, Eric Swallwell and their ilk.
I addressed every one of these issues in my testimony. I stand by every word.
Additionally, Mueller’s hit team is poking into every aspect of my personal, private, family, social, business and political life — presumably to conjure up some bogus charge or charges to use to pressure me to plead guilty to their Wikileaks fantasy and testify against Donald Trump who I have known intimately for almost 40 years.
Even more chilling is the fact that I have learned that — in this effort to destroy me — the government began reading my e-mails and text messages and monitoring my phone calls as early as 2016.
I believe that I, like Carter Page and Paul Manafort, was subject to an illegal FISA warrant in 2016, as the New York Times reported on January 20, 2017. The New York Times published this claim in a page-one story on the same day as President Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
A whistleblower has told my lawyers where my name and the fact that application had been made for a FISA warrant on me was redacted from the stunning Carter Page FISA warrant application released by the FBI last week with 300 of 400 pages blacked out.
A FISA warrant can only be issued against a U.S. citizen who is engaged in espionage for a foreign power against the United States. I have never engaged in any such thing.
In other words, heavy-handed federal prosecutors have had full access to my e-mails, text messages and cell calls since 2016 and are monitoring my communications now, and they still have no evidence of Russian collusion or any Wikileaks collaboration.
We also now know that at least one FBI informant in the United States on an informant’s visa approached me in May 2016 in an effort to entrap me and compromise Donald Trump. I declined his proposal to “buy dirt on Hillary.” There is now substantial evidence that a second FBI informant may have infiltrated my political operations in 2016. Stand by.
Incredibly, leading the questioning of witnesses before the Grand Jury about me is Jeannie Rhee, who in private practice represented the Clinton Foundation in the Hillary e-mail scandal that is front and center in the special prosecutor’s investigation of me! Can you say conflict of interest?
I have been ably served by two fine lawyers, Grant Smith and Rob Buschel, who won dismissal of a harassment lawsuit based on the same Wikileaks/Russian conspiracy theory by an Obama directed legal foundation in D.C. last month. No evidence to support this false narrative was produced in court other than a slew of fake news clippings from lefty media sites.
I have recently reached agreement to retain a highly respected and nationally known attorney who has represented Donald Trump to join my legal team and lead my defense.
Needless to say, all of this has had a terrible toll on my business, my family’s finances, the promotion of my new book “Stone’s Rules” and my life in general.
The cost of dismissal of the D.C. lawsuit; the DNC lawsuit against me (and a dozen others including Donald Trump, Jr. and the Trump campaign); the ongoing investigation of the Senate Intelligence Committee (which does not have a single pro-Trump Republican member); and the ongoing inquisition by the Special Counsel has wiped out my tiny savings and caused me to liquidate the small fund generated by my book sales for college education. My defense could ultimately cost as much as $2 million.
On-line stories that I am worth $20 million are completely false, fake news posted to hurt my efforts to raise the money to defend myself from the coming Mueller onslaught. I am not a wealthy man. At 66 years old, I work hard to support my family.
It is now clear Mueller may seek to conjure up some bogus legal offense against me in an effort to force me to testify against the President, who I have known for forty years. Additionally, they seek to silence me now and, during their coming assault, to impeach the President.
Friends who want to help can go to StoneDefenseFund.com. As for me, I am girding for battle and preparing to fight.

PREFERENCES IN THINKING PATTERNS
Let’s explore some differences in thinking patterns. Think of
“coffee.” What comes to mind?
A picture? Maybe you imagined coffee cups and a coffee maker?
Or maybe you heard the hiss of the coffee machine? Or the
noise of the coffee being poured into the cup?
Then again, maybe it was more of a feeling? The feel of the
coffee cup, perhaps? Or the feeling of relief you associate with
your morning coffee break? Or the taste or aroma of the coffee?
Possibly it was a combination of some or all of these.
These different ways of thinking are:
w Visual We think in pictures. We represent ideas, memory and
imagination as mental images, e.g. a picture of a cup of coffee.
w Auditory We think in sounds. These sounds could be voices
or noises, e.g. the sound of a coffee machine.
w Feelings We represent thoughts as feelings, either internal
emotions or the thought of a physical touch. We can include
taste and smell in this category of feelings, the taste of the
coffee, for example, or the aroma.
You will find that you have a preference for some systems over
others, both in the way you think and in the way you
When we are relating to the world at large it helps if we appeal
to all the senses. In this way we connect with all the preferences
of our readers, our listeners, our viewers and our potential clients.
At the time of writing there is a backlash against some e-business
propositions, and yet there is also a boom in interest in “clicks and

mortar” businesses. These are established high street businesses
(the mortar) that have developed ways of attracting people to
their premises through the web (mouse clicks). Given what we
know about our need to appeal to all senses, this is not
surprising. The combination of the technology with a physical
outlet appeals to both our intellectual and our physical needs. So
people are currently more likely to search for what they want on
the web but follow through with a visit to a store where they can
see, hold, touch and talk through the items they want to buy.
Is it any surprise that communication is one of the most
widely spoken about problems in business? Consider the level of
frustration so many people express with the meetings they
attend. Even when an objective is agreed, it is likely that each
person at the meeting will represent a successful conclusion in a
different way. For example, outcomes could include:
w Visual An image of all the agreed proposals written up on a
whiteboard with names against each one.
w Auditory People talking to each other at the close of the
meeting, making comments such as: “That’s been really
useful. I know exactly what my department has to do next.”
w Feelings Thoughts about shaking hands with other people at
the meeting and a satisfied, warm feeling.
My husband got a new car with a satellite navigation system. We can
choose the style of the display. My husband selects the smallest-scale
map that can be displayed with the symbolic indicators for which way
to turn in preference to a pictorial map. I choose the pictorial map with
the largest scale possible. When traveling through France I like to see
where we are in the context of the whole country, whereas my husband
likes to see the details and names of the immediate vicinity.
What is significant is that the makers had the wisdom to offer this choice.
The ability to offer choice has become a key differentiator in business. We
can choose the layout of our home page on the web, the colour of the
displays. We can choose how we want our orders sent to us in the post. We
can choose what extras we want to pay for when we book travel tickets. To
do so we need to understand the way our customers think, even if they
themselves do not consciously know (and they often don’t). This awareness
of unconscious need is becoming much more important than the
information that we gain from standard customer surveys. We don’t know

THINKING PATTERNS 21
Our eye movements contain
clues to how we think
what we don’t know! We need to be able to offer choices that our customers
only realize are important to them as they experience the difference.
A clue to the way we think is in how we move our eyes. For
example, is there someone near you now who considers
themselves a good speller? Ask them to spell “phenomenon”
without writing it down. Watch their eyes as they do so. If they
are really skilled, ask them to spell “phenomenon” backwards.
Good spellers will typically look up, eyes right or eyes left, to see
the word in their mind’s eye. (Some may look straight ahead but
in a defocused way.) Because they can “see” the word written out
they have no difficulty in spelling it backwards. It is as if it is there
on the page in front of them.
Did your schoolteacher ever say to you, “You won’t find the
answer on the ceiling”? The truth is that you probably would!
Your eyes are an indication of how you are thinking. I have
come across managers who when interviewing candidates for a
job, have been suspicious of people who break eye contact. The
implication for them is that they may very likely have recruited
people who do not think!
The details of all the eye movements and their meaning are in
Chapter 4, Thinking with your body
FINER DISTINCTIONS IN THINKING
Within each of the main thinking patterns of visual, auditory and
feelings there are finer distinctions, for example the color and
clarity of an image, the tone and volume of a sound, the strength
and location of a feeling. People who can influence their emotions
and their experience have the ability to choose these fine
distinctions in their thinking. Learning to exercise and extend
your range of thinking patterns leads to mental agility, just as
physical exercise leads to bodily flexibility.
You return home and walk into the kitchen area. The working surfaces
are clean and white. On one surface is a blue ceramic bowl filled with
fruit, vivid green apples, purple grapes, and several bright yellow
lemons. You pick up one of the lemons and feel the textured surface with
your fingertips. You raise it to your nose and smell the sharp aroma.

Also on the surface is a sharp kitchen knife and a wooden chopping
board. You place the lemon on the board and slice through the middle of
it. A fine mist of lemon juice sprays into the air. You pick up one half of
the lemon and see the defined segments and pips, some of them cut
through. You raise this half to your mouth; the sharp aroma is even
stronger now. You sink your teeth into the skin.
How is the saliva flow in your mouth now? This is the power of
thought. The way you think affects your internal state, which in
turn triggers a physical reaction, in this case the saliva flow. Your
mind does not distinguish between what is imagined and what is
Jim often had to give presentations as part of his work. Although he felt
comfortable in one-to-one meetings, whenever he had to present to
groups of half a dozen or more he felt anxious, tense and nervous. It was
worse if he knew about the presentation several days in advance, because
he would start to imagine what could go wrong. In particular, he would
imagine a dark room, and the faces of the people that he imagined there
would be blurred. He would typically start telling himself in a harsh,
critical internal voice the problems he might have. For example, he
wouldn’t be able to explain his points clearly, he would lose his place in
his notes, and people would get bored. If he heard himself speaking it
would be in almost a whisper. He could see people straining forward to
hear, or sitting back and looking away. He would feel a heavy, sick
feeling in his stomach, his heart began to beat faster, and his mouth felt
dry. Beads of perspiration would break out on his forehead and hands.
And all this even before he gave the presentation!
We “dry run” our lives in our minds to such an extent that we
influence the eventual result. Our lives are self-fulfilling
prophecies. We are what we think.

After all, these are only memories, one remembered, one created.
How often have you had the experience of not knowing for sure
whether you did something or not? “Did I lock the front door?”
“Did I turn off the light?”
Think of something you did yesterday that you will do in an
identical way tomorrow. It might be getting out of bed, brushing
your teeth, or setting the alarm. How do you distinguish between
the one you did yesterday and the one you will do tomorrow? In
fact, can you distinguish between what you did yesterday and
what you will do tomorrow?
Many people distinguish between the past and the future
according to where they position the images in their mind. For
example, the past might be behind you or to your left. The future
for some people is in front of them or to their right. Where is your
past? Where is your future? And where is the present? There is
more about how we code time in Chapter 16.

moving or still?

w What are the qualities of the sounds? Are they loud or faint,
harsh or soft?
w What is the location of the sounds?
w And what about the feelings? What exactly do you experience
Now think of the person you dislike and consider the same
questions. What is similar in the quality of your thinking about
the two and what is different? The content is irrelevant. It is the
nature of your thinking that makes the difference.
This ability to distinguish between the various aspects of your
own and other people’s experience is a way of determining the
difference that makes the difference between those who do
achieve what is important to them and those who don’t.
Once we have experienced something it becomes a memory.
When we react to a memory we are reacting not to the direct
experience but to the way we store that memory in our mind.
Managing the distinctions in our thinking gives us the ability to
influence and change the nature of our memories, so that we can
store them in a way that results in us feeling the way we want to
Many people develop the habit of storing memories in a way
that leads to depression, anger or other negative feelings. Why
choose these when you could choose pleasure or peace? The same
is true for the future. Why make yourself worried or frustrated
about an event that hasn’t occurred when you could be making
yourself confident and comfortable? You might choose to keep
some of the worry in the form of concern. The point is that you
choose the state you want rather than its choosing you. Our
ability to manage our state is more and more important in a world
that defies control and seems to be increasingly chaotic. Or is that
just my thinking?
You can be sure that you already use distinctions in your
thinking patterns in this way. Whenever you change your
experience of something you are almost certain to have
reprogrammed the way you think about it, even though you may
not have realized that this was what you were doing
SHORTCUT TO MANAGING YOUR THINKING: THE SWISH
The SWISH is a technique for utilizing these distinctions in
thinking to replace a problem state with a desirable state. It is fast
and powerful, as well as being great for dealing with unwanted
behavioral habits. Note that the SWISH will not necessarily be
ideal for deeper, more significant issues; there are other
techniques later in the book that can help with these.
1 First, identify the response in yourself that you want to
change. What exactly is the reaction you would like to
replace? For example, you might want to change a state such
as anxiety or apprehension.
2 Identify precisely what it is that triggers this response. There
will be something specific that immediately precedes your
reaction. Identifying this trigger is a key part of the process. If,
for example, it is a response to the way in which someone
speaks to you, identify what it is they say or what it is about
the way they say it that triggers your reaction. Recreate this in
your thinking in exactly the way it happens. If it is the way in
which someone speaks to you, then hear them saying the
words in exactly the way they do. If it is the sight of an
audience in front of you, imagine yourself in that situation
looking out at the audience in the way you do. See exactly
what you would see if you were there.
3 Now determine which facets of the way you think about this
trigger have the greatest effect. There will be some elements
that intensify your reaction. The SWISH lends itself most
readily to visual triggers; often the size and brightness of the
image have the greatest impact. For example, if it is the sight
of a certain person who works for you that triggers a response,
experiment with each distinction in turn, putting the image
back the way it was before you experiment with the next one.
The aim is to find the one or two that intensify the response.
Although these elements are currently triggering the response
that you don’t want, the aim of the SWISH is to hook these
elements to the response that you do want. In so doing, you
are making your own resources work for you rather than
4 Think about something completely different to “break your
state.” For example, what color was the front door of the last
house in which you lived?
5 Now imagine the person you would like to be, irrespective of
what you have been in the past and irrespective of any specific
behavior. This is an opportunity to imagine how you would
like to be, the sort of qualities you would really like to have, the
style that fits with who you truly are. Imagine this as if you are
looking at yourself as an observer, dissociated. Develop this
until you have an image that is compelling and desirable.
Check that this “you” really fits in with the significant people
in your life – it needs to be a real benefit to them too for you to
be this new way. Explore how this fits with whatever sense of
purpose you have, with your beliefs and values, with every
aspect that is important to you. Check that this new you meets
any needs that you may have been satisfying in less healthy
ways in the past. If, for example, you have been getting
attention for being stressed, check that you are going to get the
level and quality of attention you need from this new way of
being in the world.
6 Think of something completely different to break state again –
for example, your telephone number backwards.
7 Make an image of the trigger, the stimulus that prompts the
response that you want to change. Use the key factors that
enhance the trigger. For example, if the distinctions of size and
brightness intensify the trigger, make this image bright and
8 Take the image of the “new you” and make it small and dark.
Place this small, dark image in the corner of the bigger image.
9 Very quickly, make the large image small and dark and at the
same time make the small image large and bright. Do this as
fast as you can; the speed is important. You can make a sound
to accompany this movement, a SWISH sound, hence the name
of this process. (You can choose another sound if you wish.)
The sound can become the association for the feelings of
becoming the new you.
10 Break state again. Clear the images so that you start afresh.
Create a new image so you break the image before you start
again, otherwise you may set up a loop in your thinking.
11 Repeat the process five times and check to see if it works. You
will know this when you either experience or imagine the
trigger for the original state and your response to it has
changed to what you want it to be – you SWISH into the
new you immediately. If this is not happening, go back and
experiment with different parts of the process until it does.
NORTH LOGAN, Utah (AP) — The former director of Utah library will serve 30 days in jail after spending thousands of dollars in library funds on a mobile video game.
Adam Winger pleaded guilty in June to theft and forgery charges.
The Herald Journal reports he agreed to pay $78,000 in restitution in advance as part of his plea agreement.
Investigators say the 38-year-old served as the director for the North Logan City Library for about three years. Winger was accused of using North Logan City credit cards to buy hundreds of gift cards that he used to play the mobile video game, “Game of War.”
Winger was also ordered to write a 10-page book report and may serve 100 hours of community service for North Logan.
LOGAN, Utah (AP) — A former Utah library director accused of spending more than $89,000 in public dollars on the mobile app “Game of War” pleaded guilty to felony theft and forgery.
The Herald Journal reports Herm Olsen, the attorney who is representing former North Logan City Library Director Adam Winger, says a third felony charge of unlawful dealing with property by a fiduciary was dismissed Wednesday.
Winger also has agreed to pay $78,000 in restitution, to be paid by a date that will be determined by the time of sentencing.
Olsen says Winger will be required to pay the full restitution of $89,000 if he misses that deadline.
Sentencing for Winger, who resigned three months after he was placed on administrative leave in the summer of 2017, is scheduled for Aug. 13.

Here’s something that is not making many headlines in the liberal mainstream media.
Omarosa was fired four times by the Clinton White House.
They say she was very “disruptive.”
Raise your hand if you knew that Omarosa was fired from the Clinton White House not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times before. Have barely seen anything on this: “She was asked to leave as quickly as possible, she was so disruptive.” https://t.co/UC8Ac2kPcS
— Joe Concha (@JoeConchaTV) August 15, 2018
The Cut reported:
…This is not, in fact, the first time Omarosa has left a White House job under less-than-glorious circumstances. In her 20s, she was a political appointee in the Clinton administration where, according to People, she held four jobs in two years.
During a 2004 Q&A in Washington, D.C., shortly after she gained national attention as a contestant on the first season of The Apprentice, Omarosa spoke somewhat bitterly of her time in government:
I have done logistics and advance and event planning for the White House under the Gore staff … At 23, I got appointed to the White House. That was not a place to learn how to be a young professional. That’s a very difficult environment, because they don’t believe in training. They just kind of throw you in the fire.
According to a former Gore staffer, though, Omarosa never did logistics or advance work for the vice-president; she worked as a scheduling correspondent, responding to various invitations Gore received.
The staffer also said “she didn’t do her job, and it got everybody in trouble,” and was soon sent to work in the White House personnel office, which then transferred her again to the Commerce Department, where she held two different positions. In the last, she was reportedly “asked to leave as quickly as possible, she was so disruptive.”
Sunday Night’s Matt Doran goes undercover with Operation Underground Railroad to bring down Haiti child sex ring
GO BEHIND the scenes with an elaborate, multi-agency bust that has been almost a year in the planning.
“WHO is afraid of the water?”
The question, from a former special agent with the US Department of Homeland Security, is directed at a group of children being held against their will in a rusted home hidden in the hills of Petion-Ville, in the republic of Haiti.
The undercover human trafficking operative produces an iPhone, and shows the children an image of a luxury yacht, moored nearby in the Caribbean.
There’s a moment of awkward laughter, before, gradually, a few tiny arms shoot up in the air.
“Wi, wi,” they say in Creole, explaining that they’re scared.
With us are a dozen children, who’ve been released by their captors from locked rooms at the back of the property. They are aged between eight and 14 years old.
They are sex slaves.
Child trafficking victims who’ve spent their formative years servicing the carnal desires of men, often foreigners, who are three, four, five or six times their age.
Their madam tells me that many of their customers are western humanitarian workers who’ve come here to help rebuild Haiti after the recent run of natural disasters.
“Every day, every day, every day,’’ she says, after being asked if the kids have experience with westerners.
One of the little girls tightens her ponytail and checks her lipstick in the reflection of the madam’s sunglasses. Her T-shirt logo reads, ‘Viv lavi a mande’, or, ‘Live life to the fullest’. She sneaks a look over her shoulder at a member of the Haitian cartel who is doing a terrible job of concealing a machete.
The children are told that we are a planning an underage sex party for a group of wealthy Americans and Australians.
The undercover agents I am with explain to the traffickers that the party will take place on their yacht, which has been sailed over from Miami and is now anchored off a beach resort on a spectacular stretch of Haiti’s northeast coast.
In reality, this meeting is part of an elaborate, multi-agency bust that has been almost a year in the planning — all done with the approval and co-operation of federal Haitian police.
A meticulous operation that began with the infiltration of the dark web, and that will culminate in the take-down of high-level Haitian traffickers linked to the abuse of hundreds of school-age children.
Many of them are traded, as though commodities, to rival gangs, and put up for sale or rent in filthy, underground Haitian brothels. Some are loaded into trucks or buses and smuggled across the border to be used by tourists in the Dominican Republic.
Foreigners with the appetite can buy an hour of their services for as little as a handful of Australian dollars.
I’m embedded with an organisation called Operation Underground Railroad, a group of ex-police and former CIA and Department of Homeland Security operatives who travel the world rescuing trafficked children.
This is far from a ‘vigilante group’; leading the team is ex-Department of Homeland Security special agent Tim Ballard, perhaps America’s foremost human trafficking expert.
“The problem in Haiti is an international crisis,” Ballard explains. “With so many children displaced or orphaned during the recent earthquake and hurricane, recruiters moved quickly to sweep these children up. And the worst part of it all is that in many cases the clients are the foreigners who’ve come here to help, the NGO workers and the so-called humanitarians.”
As our meeting with the traffickers ends, the undercovers set their trap. They give the criminals the time and place for the bust and agree to a price for the children’s services on the yacht.
Over the next week we will meet with the leaders of another five trafficking networks, often late at night in child brothels protected by heavily-armed guards.
“These places are dark and shadowy and the men who run them have virtually no respect for a human life,” Ballard tells me. There’s one way in and one way out … if they catch you filming, that’s when they pull the guns out. That’s when they realise you are better off dead to them than alive.”
Despite more than few tense moments, including several hours spent hiding out from suspicious gang members on the roof of a western hotel, each of the meetings ends safely.
And suddenly everything is in place: the traffickers have bought our story that we’re throwing a child sex party on our yacht, and they’ve agreed to deliver 30 children.
The victims think it will be just another day of abuse by men whose language they can’t understand. In fact, they are now just 24 hours away from being rescued.
Two brave Australians are among the rescue team on the ground in Haiti.
‘Pete’, is a father and a top paramedic. His colleague, ‘Vivienne’, is a mother of two and a former detective with more than two decades of experience.
They were recruited by Operation Underground Railroad for their skills as covert investigators. They can’t be identified for fear of reprisal attacks from traffickers with international tentacles.
“My role in the Haiti operation is to care for the children once the traffickers deliver them to beach resort where the sting will go down,’’ says Vivienne. “Keep them calm, keep them safe while the traffickers are given their cash, before the police move in. What goes through my head is the whole mother instinct; wanting to nurture them, give them a hug and say, it’s going to be OK. What’s gut wrenching is I actually don’t know if it’s going to be OK.”
Pete is on standby for any medical emergencies, to treat any injuries should the traffickers bring weapons or become violent when the SWAT team moves in for the arrests.
“You start to think, ‘OK, what if this was my child? How would I be? What would I feel?’ And it pulls you apart,” Pete says. “There’s a temptation for us at times, in our bubble in Australia, to dismiss this as someone else’s problem. We’re different cultures, different races, different countries, but we are all human beings.”
As word comes through that the traffickers and the children are now en route, we put the final touches on a series of hidden cameras and microphones, which will capture the evidence needed for the Haitian authorities.
The plan is for the traffickers to meet with us out on the yacht, while the children are taken inside a hut on the beach. It’s vital for the legal case that the traffickers are recorded telling the agents how many children they control, and how much they will charge.
Once the traffickers arrive, the plan plays out to perfection. They’ve delivered exactly what they said they would, 30 children between the ages of eight and 16. They explain that their daily value is a little over $300 per child, and then they return to the beach to collect their cash.
A signal is given and Haitian police move in, guns drawn. Balaclava-clad detectives armed with assault rifles order the traffickers to the ground, and seize the envelopes of cash they’ve been handed as payment for the day’s services.
All told, nine traffickers end up in handcuffs, and 30 children are placed into the care of experienced trauma counsellors. The rescue team is now working directly with the Haitian president on the prosecution of the traffickers arrested.
For most of the children, this is their first taste of freedom in many years.
They’ve spent much of their young lives crowded into locked rooms with no windows, sleeping on concrete floors. The sad reality is that many have been given up for this life of abuse, by their own impoverished families. Children sourced in calamity, the pieces of their lives never quite coming together.
The safe houses where the children will be cared for seem at first glance like the saddest places on earth. With executions often ordered for girls set to testify, they are protected 24/7 by heavily armed guards.
As the first television crew ever allowed inside these top-secret compounds, we discover girls as young as 11, pregnant, or already raising children themselves. The heartbreaking product of rape.
But if you look beyond their scarred hearts and the dim lights of their eyes, you’ll find a place full of hope. Beautiful young Haitians with secret smiles and untold potential.
Trauma counsellors bringing kids who’ve lived through an infinitude of suffering, back to life. They have medical treatment, and the opportunity to go to school.
Maria Atkinson runs Jasper House, a refuge for survivors in coastal Jacmel. She’s a volunteer who abandoned her life of privilege in America, to dedicate her life to these children.
“These are the world’s forgotten children. The ones who have fallen through the cracks,” Maria tells me as we watch the children dance and sing during an afternoon art class. “They have been beaten down, and abused, and made to feel worthless, but nothing in the world is more rewarding than when you see the light come back into their faces. Their resilience totally blows me away. They have been through more than we could ever imagine, and yet they find a way back.”
For the Aussies involved in this rescue, the biggest child trafficking bust in Haiti’s history, there’s little time to pause and celebrate.
“It’s like pushing on the chest of Haiti,” Pete tells me as we watch the traffickers being led away to prison. “It’s like saying, ‘Hey, you have an enormous problem here, but we are with you and we are ready to help’.”
And with more than five million children enslaved worldwide, Operation Underground Railroad certainly needs the help. In fact, human trafficking now rivals guns and drugs as one of the fastest-growing crimes in the world.
There’s a temptation here in Australia, half a world away from Haiti, to think, ‘this is not our country, these are not our children, this is someone else’s problem’.
Pete and Vivienne are pleading for a different perspective.
“It takes some engagement to say, ‘no, I’m more than just Australian. I’m part of this’. Borders and boundaries mean nothing when you look into the kids’ eyes,’’ Pete says.
For Vivienne, helping is the human thing to do: “These are children, and if they don’t have anyone, they are all of ours. To sit back and do nothing is not something we were wired to do.”

Professor Finds That White Students Think America Invented Slavery
Behold, the trees bearing the poisoned fruits of ignorance and bias have been consumed over the past few decades by our young people, and the intended results are being fully realized.
For 11 years, Professor Duke Pesta gave quizzes to his students at the beginning of the school year to test their knowledge on basic facts about American history and Western culture.
The most surprising result from his 11-year experiment? Students’ overwhelming belief that slavery began in the United States and was almost exclusively an American phenomenon, he said.
“Most of my students could not tell me anything meaningful about slavery outside of America,” Pesta told The College Fix. “They are convinced that slavery was an American problem that more or less ended with the Civil War, and they are very fuzzy about the history of slavery prior to the Colonial era. Their entire education about slavery was confined to America.”
Pesta, currently an associate professor of English at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, has taught the gamut of Western literature—from the Classics to the modern—at seven different universities, ranging from large research institutions to small liberal arts colleges to branch campuses. He said he has given the quizzes to students at Purdue University, University of Tennessee Martin, Ursinus College, Oklahoma State University, and University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
The origin of these quizzes, which Pesta calls “cultural literacy markers,” was his increasing discomfort with gaps in his students’ foundational knowledge.
“They came to college without the basic rudiments of American history or Western culture and their reading level was pretty low,” Pesta told The Fix.
MORE: Black studies prof says slavery ‘white people thing’
Before even distributing the syllabus for his courses, Pesta administered his short quizzes with basic questions about American history, economics and Western culture. For instance, the questions asked students to circle which of three historical figures was a president of the United States, or to name three slave-holding countries over the last 2,000 years, or define “capitalism” and “socialism” in one sentence each.
Often, more students connected Thomas Jefferson to slavery then could identify him as president, according to Pesta. On one quiz, 29 out of 32 students responding knew that Jefferson owned slaves, but only three out of the 32 correctly identified him as president. Interestingly, more students— six of 32—actually believed Ben Franklin had been president.
Pesta said he believes these students were given an overwhelmingly negative view of American history in high school, perpetuated by scholars such as Howard Zinn in “A People’s History of the United States,” a frequently assigned textbook.
What’s more, he began to observe a shift in his students’ quiz responses in the early 2000s. Before that time, Pesta described his students as “often historically ignorant, but not politicized.” Since the early 2000s, Pesta has found that “many students come to college preprogrammed in certain ways.”
“They cannot tell you many historical facts or relate anything meaningful about historical biographies, but they are, however, stridently vocal about the corrupt nature of the Republic, about the wickedness of the founding fathers, and about the evils of free markets,” Pesta said. “Most alarmingly, they know nothing about the fraught history of Marxist ideology and communist governments over the last century, but often reductively define socialism as ‘fairness.’”
Pesta also noted that, early on, his students’ “blissful ignorance was accompanied by a basic humility about what they did not know.” But over time he said he increasingly saw “a sense of moral superiority in not knowing anything about our ‘racist and sexist’ history and our ‘biased’ institutions.”
“As we now see on campus,” Pesta said, “social justice warriors are arguing that even reading the great books of Western culture is at best a micro-aggression, and at worst an insidious form of cultural imperialism and indoctrination.”
Pesta, an outspoken critic of Common Core, said he believes that these attitudes will become more pronounced moving forward, due to Common Core architect David Coleman’s rewrite of Advanced Placement American and European history standards.
Pesta argues that Coleman, now president of the College Board, “has further politicized the teaching of history, reducing the story of Western culture to little more than a litany of crimes, exploitations, and genocides, while simultaneously whitewashing the history of ideologies like socialism and communism.”
Despite no longer giving the quizzes, Pesta told The Fix that he continues “to seek effective ways to teach students the literature of Western culture, which it is not only alien and complex, but often condemned by students before it is truly encountered.”
“We must absolutely teach those areas where Western culture has fallen short, but always with the recognition that such criticism is possible because of the freedoms and advantages offered by Western culture,” he said.

KUTX received “a few” complaints from listeners, but after McInnes tweeted the song’s YouTube link the station pulled the track from their lineup and asked Richards to clarify the intentions of his lyrics.
Richards said on Facebook that KUTX, “quietly banned my song ‘Western Chauvinist’ this week before lying and attempting to coerce me to apologize for it publicly.”
It should also be noted that KUTX is a federally funded radio station.
A KUTX employee in contact with Richards asked him to not mention the fact that they pulled his song because they, “don’t want to draw any more attention to a potential controversy,” but Richards took screenshots of the conversation and posted them onto his Facebook page.
Doubling down, Richards then agreed to do an interview with Gavin McInnes on the “Get Off My Lawn” podcast, saying, “I’ll talk to anyone who supports free speech [and] freedom of expression.”
“The whole record is intended to get people talking about shit,” he says. “And it is starting a conversation. [KUTX] wants to silence the conversation. But that’s not where I stand.”
Richards, who won’t disclose whether his songs are satire or not, explains, “I want people to interpret whatever they want.”

An introduction to vectors
Definition of a vector
A vector is an object that has both a magnitude and a direction. Geometrically, we can picture a vector as a directed line segment, whose length is the magnitude of the vector and with an arrow indicating the direction. The direction of the vector is from its tail to its head.
Two vectors are the same if they have the same magnitude and direction. This means that if we take a vector and translate it to a new position (without rotating it), then the vector we obtain at the end of this process is the same vector we had in the beginning.
Two examples of vectors are those that represent force and velocity. Both force and velocity are in a particular direction. The magnitude of the vector would indicate the strength of the force or the speed associated with the velocity.
We denote vectors using boldface as in scalar. We will denote scalars with italics, as in or .or . Especially when writing by hand where one cannot easily write in boldface, people will sometimes denote vectors using arrows as in or , or they use other markings. We won’t need to use arrows here. We denote the magnitude of the vector by . When we want to refer to a number and stress that it is not a vector, we can call the number a
You can explore the concept of the magnitude and direction of a vector using the below applet. Note that moving the vector around doesn’t change the vector, as the position of the vector doesn’t affect the magnitude or the direction. But if you stretch or turn the vector by moving just its head or its tail, the magnitude or direction will change. (This applet also shows the coordinates of the vector, which you can read about in another page.)

Why are Black Business Leadets undercutting Black Americans
Some things simply make no sense. The current actions of some Black business leaders appear to warrant a place in the Dingbat files. They have formed an alliance to support four Democrats in the upcoming election under the guise of improving the lives of their fellow Blacks.
Ummm, so a historically low Black rate of unemployment means nothing?
Seriously? Where have these “leaders” been the past year and a half? Obviously, hard data is irrelevant to them.
Either they are completely clueless or they have a hidden agenda. This poster suspects the latter
Black Business Leaders Determined to Put More Blacks Out of Work
By D Jolly
Thanks to the mainstream media and years of socialist and anti-American public education, a new political group composed of black business leaders demonstrate just how blind, illogical and counter-productive they are.
I’ve never understood why so many black Americans are Democrats when it’s been the Republican Party that freed them from slavery and fought for their rights for over a century and half. Democrats fought and died to keep blacks as slaves and they are the ones that have racially discriminated against black Americans for years. Democrats are the ones that forced black Americans to go to different schools, sit in the back of a bus and only eat in and at certain establishments.
Yet, the majority of America’s black population continue to vote Democrat.
Barack Obama, who said his 2008 election was NOT about race, made his 8 years in office all about race, yet the only thing he did was fuel the fires of racial hatred and put more blacks in poverty than when he took office.
Obama promised to work to create more jobs for black Americans, but their unemployment numbers remained much higher than the national average. He promised to improve inner city conditions, but only made them worse. He promised them better schools and better educations, but like all of his other promises to black Americans, he lied and never kept a single promise. The ONLY thing Obama did for black Americans was make life worse.
Donald Trump also promised black Americans he would help create more jobs for them and put more money in their pockets.
In a year and half in office, Trump has proved he is keeping his promises to black Americans. Unemployment of black Americans has dropped to the lowest level since long before Obama took office. Thanks to Trump and congressional Republicans passing the tax reform measure, not only are more black Americans working but they are taking home more of every dollar they earn. This definitely helps them to make ends meet, something Obama and Democrats NEVER delivered.
[NOTE – Hispanic unemployment is at the lowest level since the government has been keeping records, and yet the majority of Hispanics also vote Democrat.]
This is why it doesn’t make any sense for the newly formed Black Economic Alliance (composed of black business leaders) to announce they were endorsing four Democrats. They claim to have raised $3.5 million in donations that they plan to invest in what they call ‘competitive contests’ that stress improving financial conditions of black American voters.

Tesla Model 3 Bumper Falls Off After 30 Minutes And “Heavy Rain”
With Tesla scrambling to produce as many Model 3s as possible to meet Wall Street expectations, it is no surprise that the company has recently been plagued with anecdotal reports of shoddy workmanship and quality control issues. And what just happened over the weekend to the (formerly) delighted owner of a brand new Model 3 confirms many of these stories.
A person bought a Tesla Model 3, and, within the first 30 minutes of driving the car back home, the rear bumper cover falls off, Jalopnik reported. The owner, Rithesh Nair, tweeted a picture of his car, directly letting Elon Musk know about his new exposed behind: “1/2 hr, bringing Model 3 home, run in to heavy rain on the streets & bumper comes off.”
While it was not immediately clear if there were any “mitigating” factors to explain why the bumper fell off, Jalopnik notes the “hint” in the environmental conditions of this Model 3’s inaugural drive: heavy rain. Which led to the following snarky observation: “cars are generally pretty good at retaining their body panels in the rain, even bottom-of-the-market cars like the Mitsubishi Mirage, but it seems to be a challenge for this Model 3.”
Or perhaps it wasn’t the rain to blame, but merely crappy production quality as another Model 3 owner responded with a picture of his own car which had similarly lost its rear bumper.
Jalopnik notes that according to speculation of other tweeters, the issue seems to be related to a bit of cloth-like shielding under the car, which would deflect water and debris around and below the bumper.
If this bit of shielding gets torn or loose, water can be forced into the bumper cover, which would act like a big water catch-basin, eventually being pulled off its mounts from the weight and/or pressure of the water being directed up inside the bumper cover.
Still, while Tesla fanboys may be quick to explain away any defect, the fact that this is happening at all “is pretty incredible.” And not just once on a car that has repeatedly gotten the highest marks from “independent” industry observers.
Keeping your bumper cover on in pretty much all weather is a very, very solved problem in the automotive industry.
In response to the article, Tesla – which these days is busier coming up with LBO narratives than making sure its “factory gated” cars are usable in the real world – made the following statement:
We’re setting an extremely high bar for Model 3, and what happened in this situation is not how we build our cars. We’re investigating the issue to understand what caused it, and we are contacting our customers to resolve this and ensure they are satisfied.
